It was used as a meeting place for a Czech resistance group during WW2, and later as a holiday home for the 'city people'. Having survived Nazis and years of totalitarian regime it was vandalised only recently. As the title suggests, my intention had been to create a kind of 'requiem' composed of images and ambient sounds - rather than musical notes (with the piano silenced by the vandals), a requiem dedicated to the hypothetical Partisan.
