The work explores an ex-cinema building in London at the Brixton Academy (see still from the looped video above). Apart from the obvious visual account of the space I also used soundtrack material - dialogue, music, sound - some from a film shown at the time the building still functioned as a cinema, and some contemporary location sound. I aimed to construct a 'new metaphoric space' rather than a 'documentary' account.
