Artist's Statement
Kate Pritchard's main preoccupations flit between reality and artifice, psychological manifestations of the mind, and the juxtaposition of the viewer to her work. She also creates interventions in urban landscapes, used in part as a reactionary response to systems employed by organisations attempting to control the movement, voice and ideas of the individual.
Biography
Kate Pritchard graduated with a BA in Fine Art from Chelsea College of Art & Design in 2006. Prior to this she worked in television production, print media and the internet. She now works exclusively as an artist and lives in South London.
