Georgina Batty Ramp and Walkway (exterior view) 2003 Timber, MDF, floor grit, daylight bulbs, window, paint 15m x 12m x 8m back   Walkway consisting of a ramp and platform that rises approx 6 meters from the floor. The walkway is enclosed and functions like a corridor. Visitors walk up the ramp onto the level platform in order to gain access to the small round window in the wall. The detail shows the interior view of the ramp with the small window. The window looks out onto the busiest railway track in London. The viewer can see trains passing at eye level every minute. The colours of the passing trains are reflected onto the wall.
